The fourth round of the Champions League's league phase begins on Tuesday 3 November with nine games, two at 18:45 CET and seven at 21:00 CET, and the injury lists are long. UEFA's own team-news page, published on Monday, lists Paris Saint-Germain without Ousmane Dembélé, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Marquinhos and Nuno Mendes for their trip to Villarreal, Bayern Munich without Jamal Musiala, Luis Díaz, Serge Gnabry and Ismael Saibari at Atlético Madrid, and Inter without Lautaro Martínez and the suspended Alessandro Bastoni at Feyenoord.

## The early games, 18:45 CET

Galatasaray host Stuttgart in Istanbul with no injuries or doubts listed on either side for the home team; Stuttgart are without Sauer (muscle), Stiller (adductor) and Vagnoman (hamstring). Galatasaray are 23rd of 36 with three points, Stuttgart sixth with seven, and the two clubs have never met in a European competition before, according to UEFA.

## The 21:00 CET games

At Atlético Madrid, Bayern's list is the longest of the night. Besides the four forwards, Bara Ndiaye is out after an appendix operation, Michael Olise is to be assessed on the day after going off against Dortmund as a precaution, and head coach Vincent Kompany is still off sick, with assistant Aaron Danks in charge, according to the club's website. Manuel Neuer has returned to full training and travelled. Atlético are without Johnny Cardoso (hamstring) and the suspended Morten Hjulmand, with Koke doubtful. Bayern are 14th with five points, Atlético 16th with four. Our preview of the game is linked below.

At Villarreal, PSG, top of the table on goal difference, are missing Dembélé (thigh), Kvaratskhelia (knee), Marquinhos (thigh) and Nuno Mendes (thigh), per UEFA. Villarreal, 19th with three points, are without Akhomach, Foyth and Moreno, all with muscle injuries, and Alassane is doubtful. PSG are unbeaten in their last 13 Champions League games, which equals a club record, UEFA notes.

At Barcelona, Aston Villa arrive as one of five clubs with a perfect record, second on goal difference. Barcelona are without Andreas Christensen and Eric García (hamstring), Jules Koundé (ankle), Dani Olmo (adductor) and Xavi Espart (ankle). Villa are missing Matteo Ruggeri and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, both with hamstring injuries. Barcelona are eighth with six points.

At Old Trafford, Manchester United are without Patrick Dorgu (hamstring), Marcus Rashford (hip), Benjamin Šeško (shin) and Luke Shaw (hamstring), with Amad Diallo doubtful; UEFA's page does not list Lisandro Martínez, whose red card at Chelsea brought a league suspension. Roma are without Koné and Lorenzo Pellegrini (hamstring) and the goalkeeper Mile Svilar (hand), and Paulo Dybala (calf) is doubtful. United are 20th on three points, Roma 15th on four. Our preview from Monday is linked below.

At Feyenoord, Inter are without Lautaro Martínez (muscle), Jones and Stones (thigh) and Bastoni, who is suspended; Luis Henrique is doubtful. Feyenoord have six players out, including Bos, Moder, Nieuwkoop and Smal, with St. Juste doubtful. Both clubs have three points: Inter are 20th, Feyenoord 26th.

In Norway, Bodø/Glimt host Lille, who are without the suspended Mbappé, as UEFA lists him, Tiago Santos (knee) and Ueda (foot); Bodø are missing Ejven, Faye Lund, Riisnæs and Mikkelsen. Lille have lost all three games so far and are 35th; Bodø have three points. LASK host Slovan Bratislava, who are bottom of the 36 with no points, as are Porto and Lille; no players are ruled out on either side.

## What the round decides

The league phase is one table of 36 clubs, each playing eight different opponents. The top eight go straight to the last 16, places nine to 24 go to a play-off round in February, and the bottom 12 are out. After Tuesday and Wednesday, every club will have played half its games. The clubs on nine points (PSG, Villa, Liverpool, Real Madrid and Betis) can move within one win of the direct route; the dozen clubs on three points, which includes Inter, United, Napoli and Galatasaray, are separated from the elimination zone by a single result either way.

Wednesday's games include Porto v Napoli, Fenerbahçe v Liverpool at 18:45 CET, Slavia Prague v Arsenal, RB Leipzig v Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund v Real Betis, all at 21:00 CET except where stated. UEFA lists Liverpool without Bradley, Ekitiké, Frimpong and Leoni, and Napoli with seven players out and Kevin De Bruyne among three doubts.

All kick-off times are from the fixture feed used on this site; the team news is UEFA's as of Monday afternoon, and the clubs' confirmed line-ups arrive 75 minutes before each kick-off.
